ANAPHYLAXIS & EPIPEN: 2 hrs  Aims to be aware of Anaphylaxis, how to safely care for the casualty with this condition & how to correctly administer the prescribed medication.

ASTHMA/COPD: 3 hrs  Aims to increase knowledge of Asthma and other COPD conditions, their causes, medication, & how to manage symptoms.

Cancer Awareness Training

CANCER AWARENESS: 3 hrs   Statistics, definition, classification, risk factors, potential signs for common cancers e.g. breast, prostate, bowel, lung & skin cancer, staging of cancers, main treatment options.

Clinical Supervision Training

CLINICAL SUPERVISION: 3 hrs  Enables staff to understand the process of supervision and its advantages for both staff and clients.

Continence Care Training

CONTINENCE CARE: 3 hrs  Increases knowledge of incontinence and ways of promoting continence: anatomy & physiology of the urinary and bowel systems, social effects of incontinence, continence equipment Urinary tract infections, catheter & stoma procedures

Diabetes Training

DIABETES: 3 hrs Increase awareness of diabetes, its effects and its impact on the client, the effects, signs and symptoms, treatment, associated conditions & complications.  Also includes foot care advice & emergency actions.

DYSPHAGIA:  3 hrs  Definition of dysphagia & the difference with choking, how we swallow, anatomy and physiology, common swallowing issues, reasons of the common causes of dysphagia & who may be affected, how to contribute

End of Life Care Training

END OF LIFE CARE: 3 hrs  Aims to give the care worker more confidence and knowledge when caring for the dying client.
